Did You Know?

Your CPAP supplies are disposable. You need to replace them regularly to have the best outcome with your therapy.

Please note: Every insurance carrier is different. The below schedules are just guidelines, please consult your doctor about the exact timing of your equipment resupply.

Every 1 Month

Mask cushions and pillows

  • Have the edges of your cushion or pillows become stiff or cracked?
  • Has your cushion changed color?
  • Are you experiencing discomfort, redness, or skin irritation?

Machine air filters

  • Does the filter show signs of wear such as discoloration, holes, or tears?

Every 3 Months

Mask frame (excluding headgear)

  • Are you experiencing excessive leaks?

Tubing (standard or heated)

  • Has your tubing begun to change to an opaque color?
  • Has your tubing developed cracks or tears?

Every 6 Months

Headgear and chin straps

  • Has your headgear stretched?
  • Are you overtightening to avoid leaks?

Humidifier water tube

  • Has the water chamber become discolored or cloudy?
  • Do you see any cracks or pitted areas?

Preferred Communication Methods

When you are set up initially for CPAP therapy, you choose the way you would like to be contacted by us about your CPAP supplies. We have multiple options and you can change this at any time. Here are the different options:

  • IVR – IVR is an automated call made to your contact number made every 3 months from the last supply order.
  • Live Call – Call made to your contact number from a live representative every 3 months from last supply order.
  • Text – Text reminders sent to your cell phone every 3 months from the last supply order (you cannot reply to these texts)
  • Email – You can receive email reminders every 3 months from the last supply order
  • Phone App – The latest way to get reminders, place supply orders, and check on the status of your supply orders.

Mask Types

Your mask is one of the most important components of CPAP therapy. A great mask can make therapy comfortable and successful, so picking the right one is important. There are several types of masks to choose from:

Full Face Mask

If you breathe with your mouth open, this is the mask for you. It covers both the nose and mouth area.

Nasal Mask

If you breathe through your nose but feel more comfortable with a mask that covers your nasal area, a nasal mask is a great option.

Nasal Pillows Mask

If you’re looking for a lightweight mask that makes minimal facial contact, a nasal pillows mask is a perfect solution.
