As a Driver/Service Technician, you will operate the company vehicle in a safe, efficient and professional manner. It is important that you not only make your deliveries and set-ups on a schedule, but that you also do so in a manner that takes into account the needs of both our patients and their families. Your specific duties will be included:
Driving a company vehicle to deliver medical equipment/supplies to patients/clients in their homes. Treating our patients and families in a friendly and professional manner. Maintains equipment, warehouse environment, and company vehicle. Maintaining warehouse inventory. Comply with DOT, FDAObeying all traffic laws. Comply with Policies and Procedures.
Minimum Qualifications: Self-motivated, mechanical, personable, dependable and organized. A clean driving record and capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. Must be able to manage multiple responsibilities. Adheres to company policies and procedures. Previous home medical equipment delivery experience. A high school diploma or GED is required.
Work Environment: Travel in the community at large, patient homes and healthcare facilities, hazards include risk of exposure to blood-borne and airborne pathogens, possible exposure to traffic hazards, and poor road conditions. On-call requirements involve providing patient services 24 hours a day
Special Physical Demands: Lifting, and delivering heavy medical equipment, assembling medical equipment, evaluating the performance of medical equipment, and carrying products up/down stairs
